ROADWAY PROJECTS
County Line Entrance Interchange Consolidation
The District is a participant in the Douglas County managed project to convert the existing two intersections at the I25 and County Line entrance to Inverness into a single intersection. Douglas County completed preliminary design for the revised intersection in early 2020. The project is now in final design scheduled to be concluded in June 2021 with construction thereafter.
PEDESTRIAN MOBILITY
The District has added over 8 miles of sidewalks and pathways in the Inverness Park to improve pedestrian mobility with pedestrian crossing improvements and key connecting points to the Dry Creek and County Line light rail station pedestrian bridges. Click here to contact the District if you notice any sidewalk areas requiring maintenance or have suggestions to enhance or add to existing sidewalk pathways.
BUS STOPS and PARKING
Bus Shelters
Throughout the District, you will notice that there are strategically located bus shelters installed to provide protection and safety for light rail commuters. The free RTD Call-N-Ride is available for use Monday through Friday from 5:30am to 7:00pm. During high traffic hours, this service makes regularly scheduled stops at the bus shelters. Please check RTD’s website for stop times. To request a pick up at one of these designated areas outside of high traffic hours, please call the Inverness North Bus (Dry Creek station) at 303-994-9885 or Inverness South Bus (County Line station) at 303-961-5109.
