Road Closure Update – July 1, 2022 Inverness Parkway is OPEN!
June 23, 2022 - We anticipate opening the roadways before the 4th of July holiday weekend.
June 13, 2022 The new sewer line and manhole connection at southernmost section of the project is installed. The contractor will continue to install the line to the northwest. They are repairing the area that was recently installed with the intent of trying to open part of the Parkway, Way South, Valley Highway Frontage intersection early next week.
Please be advised that beginning on May 31, 2022, all lanes of County Line Road in both directions will be closed from Inverness Drive West to Inverness Way South/South Valley Highway Road for a sanitary sewer line replacement. The closure will be in effect for at least 30 days. Detour routes are shown on the map to the right.

ROADWAY PROJECTS
County Line Entrance Interchange Consolidation
The District is a participant in the Douglas County managed project to convert the existing two intersections at the I25 and County Line entrance to Inverness into a single intersection. Douglas County completed preliminary design for the revised intersection in early 2020. The project is now in final design scheduled to be concluded in June 2021 with construction thereafter.
PEDESTRIAN MOBILITY
The District has added over 8 miles of sidewalks and pathways in the Inverness Park to improve pedestrian mobility with pedestrian crossing improvements and key connecting points to the Dry Creek and County Line light rail station pedestrian bridges. BUS STOPS and PARKING
Bus Shelters
Throughout the District, you will notice that there are strategically located bus shelters installed to provide protection and safety for light rail commuters. The free RTD Call-N-Ride is available for use Monday through Friday from 5:30am to 7:00pm. During high traffic hours, this service makes regularly scheduled stops at the bus shelters. Please check RTD’s website for stop times. To request a pick up at one of these designated areas outside of high traffic hours, please call the Inverness North Bus (Dry Creek station) at 303-994-9885 or Inverness South Bus (County Line station) at 303-961-5109.
